Here is a FREE Series Of Online seminars that will delight many in small communities! It will teach a step-by-step approach on how to build a float and how to plan or improve a parade.

It will assist those interested in participating in local parades do so with ease and fun. It will make the local parade an even greater source of community pride!

Meet Presenter, Vance Baird,  Coordinator North Iowa Band Festival

Vance started working with the festival while employed as a teacher and coach at the area community college. Part of his work with the student body was the construction of floats for the festival parade.

While serving on the festival committee he was actively involved with the entertainment for the event. In 1997 he was asked to coordinate the event and has served in that capacity since. In 2001 he started FCS (Festival Consulting Service) his own festival consulting agency, he serves in both positions today.

Mason City, IA Band Festival And Parade!

This 67-year-old event based in Mason City Iowa, is believed to have played a large part in the formation of ideas for “The Music Man”. Mason City is the hometown of author Meredith Wilson. 

Highlights include large parade featuring marching bands, floats, and professional units with over 150 entrees and a weekend of free musical entertainment. For more information, please click here!
